“With rooftop solar output growing more than 1,100% over a 1-year period, from 6MW in 2016 to 70MW by the end of 2017, in the UAE, the scope for collaboration between the construction and the solar industries is immense,” Event Director, Josine Heijmans, stated. “Virtually, there’s no building project where solar can’t be incorporated, thus an early integration of solar and construction elements is the way forward to a more sustainable built environment”.
More than just a conference, the event will be the ultimate showcase of solar technologies from leading PV manufacturing countries like Germany, Italy, Greece, China, India and Turkey as well as from the GCC region.
