- As a direct result of exhibiting at The Big 5, TENDERD closed machine rental deals worth in excess of USD 30,000
- Winning the Start-up City Pitch competition gave the TENDERD brand enormous recognition and a marketing exposure worth USD 20,000
- Thanks to an increased market knowledge, TENDERD was able to adapt its technology and services to the needs of their target industry
TENDERD is a heavy equipment rental marketplace for Middle East and North Africa. Their platform enables contractors to track productivity of their rented equipment, while equipment owners benefit from TENDERD massive reach to maximise their equipment rental yield.
Launched in 2018, TENDERD raised the biggest seed round in the MENA region at US$5.8M at that time. It counts on Google and Y-Combinator as partners, and works with hundreds of reputable clients.
Chong Siong, VP Growth, at TENDERD has told us:
“Throughout the four days of exhibiting at The Big 5 we met many potential clients and partners.”
TENDERD wanted to introduce their TENDERD Track Software, and get more leads for their machinery rental business.
As a start-up, it had been challenging for TENDERD to find the right platform to build their brand name and to get exposure to the construction industry.
The Big 5 Solution
By exhibiting at The Big 5, TENDERD was able to meet the right people, including numerous Managing Directors, General Managers and CEOs, with whom they formed beneficial relationships. In addition, by talking to industry players who attended the event, they gained important insights into the construction sector, which will help them drive their business strategy.
The region’s largest and most influential event for the construction industry, The Big 5 featuring the Start-up City Pitch Competition will return from 23 - 26 November 2020 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
